Data Collected
When you submit an order or inquiry, we may collect your name, telephone number, email address, Hong Kong delivery address, selected products, order value, messages, and delivery instructions. Return requests may include photographs, issue descriptions, collection details, and communication records. When an eligible refund is required because replacement stock is unavailable, we collect the bank details needed to arrange the transfer. We do not require bank details for ordinary cash-on-delivery purchases.
Data Use
Coriumvalenta uses personal data to receive and assess orders, communicate order information, prepare parcels, arrange courier delivery, manage cancellations, record failed deliveries, respond to inquiries, organize free return collection, assess damaged or incorrect products, arrange exchanges, process eligible refunds, prevent misuse, maintain business records, address disputes, and meet legal duties. We collect data that is reasonably needed for these purposes and avoid unrelated use without the required consent.
Sharing Junction: Who Receives Data
We may share necessary information with courier providers, service providers supporting website or record operations, banking providers involved in refunds, professional advisers, and public bodies where disclosure is legally required. Couriers receive information needed to deliver or collect a parcel. Banking details are used for eligible refunds, not cash-on-delivery payment. Service providers may use personal data only for the assigned purpose and under appropriate contractual controls.
We do not provide customer information to unrelated parties for their independent advertising. If we propose direct marketing, we will provide the notices and consent choices required by Part 6A of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance. Customers may decline or withdraw direct-marketing consent without charge by emailing brand@coriumvalenta.com.
Retention Stop: How Long Data Remains
Personal data is retained only for as long as reasonably needed for order administration, delivery records, returns, refunds, customer communications, legal obligations, accounting, dispute handling, and misuse prevention. When data is no longer required, Coriumvalenta will erase it or remove identifying elements unless continued retention is required or permitted by Hong Kong law.
Protection Layer
Coriumvalenta uses reasonable administrative, organizational, and digital measures intended to protect personal data against accidental loss, improper access, alteration, disclosure, processing, or erasure. Access is limited to people and providers who need the information for legitimate duties. Customers should avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information and should notify us if they believe their order information was used improperly.
Your Access and Correction Route
Subject to the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, individuals may ask whether Coriumvalenta holds their personal data, request access, or request correction of inaccurate information. Requests should be emailed to brand@coriumvalenta.com with enough detail for us to locate the relevant record and identify the requester. We may request reasonable identity evidence, respond within the legally applicable period, and charge only a fee permitted by law for a data access request.
Hong Kong Privacy Framework
Coriumvalenta handles personal data under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, Cap. 486, and its six Data Protection Principles covering collection, accuracy, retention, use, protection, openness, access, and correction. Electronic notices, requests, and records may be handled consistently with the Electronic Transactions Ordinance, Cap. 553. Direct-marketing activities, if introduced, will follow applicable consent and notification requirements under the PDPO.
Journey Updates and Contact
Coriumvalenta may revise this policy when operations or legal requirements change. The revised version will appear on the website with an updated effective date. Material changes will apply prospectively unless law requires otherwise. If any provision becomes unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. Questions, access requests, correction requests, objections, or privacy complaints may be sent to brand@coriumvalenta.com. We will review each communication fairly and respond under applicable Hong Kong law.
